National Admission Cell
Preamble
The Admission Cell at DMIHER plays a crucial role in managing the admission process for all programs offered by the university. It oversees the entire process, from issuing admission notifications to onboarding students. Closely coordinating with the offices of the Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Registrar, the Admission Cell ensures compliance with existing regulations while also recommending necessary amendments. The cell publicizes various programs, scrutinizes applications, and enrolls students based on merit from entrance tests or qualifying examinations. It operates through two specialized units—the National Admissions Unit and the International Admissions Unit—each functioning independently while reporting to the central authority.Objectives
- To publicize the various programs offered by the university on the university website and through other marketing channels.
- To provide career counselling of the candidates willing to take admissions in various programs.
- To scrutinize the eligibility of the candidates and facilitate the application process.
- To conduct entrance examinations, issue merit list and facilitate the counselling and onboarding process of the selected candidates.
- To conduct market research on various programs that the university can start based upon the industry requirements.
- To maintain student related data and retrieve as and when required by the university.
